This is 6” x 27 ½” inch, ¼” thick rectangular low iron glass shelf kit. Low iron glass is ultra clear and provides a higher degree of transparency than clear float glass.

Peacock chrome shelf brackets are constructed using a heavy duty die cast zinc alloy, which is then power coated giving them an attractive finish. Brackets are specially designed for 3/8 Inch Thick Glass. Once mounted, all of the screws are hidden for a fine and finished look.

Thickness & Glass Type : All shelves are 6mm or 1/4 inch thick Tempered Glass.

Clear glass: Its a Clear glass, which is processed to be as close to perfect as possible through a curing process yields no air bubbles.

Tempered Glass :Tempered (toughened through a process of extreme heating and rapid cooling during manufacturing process) glass is two or more times stronger than annealed (Standard) glass. When broken, it shatters into many small fragments which prevent major injuries. This type of glass is intended for uses requiring superior strength and safety properties while standard glass could pose potential risk of injuries with sharpe edges in case of brakage.
